<p>I’ve definitely been stalking for some time now. Whenever I feel about to IMPLODE into many tiny pieces from thinking about Barnard, I go to this thread. </p>
<p>I applied to Columbia ED and spent time on their thread as well. And I have to say that this thread is so much more pleasant of a community, even if it’s just an online one.</p>
<p>Everyone here is so warm and I feel that you all just want the best for each other. I really really hope that all of you are where you want to be this time next year, because I really believe that you are all wonderful people who deserve to be happy. And I hate when bad things happen to good people.</p>
<p>Congrats, neethus!!! One of my best friends got a full ride to GW and another is choosing between that and BC. </p>
<p>And fishgills - awwwes. I agree, though. The Barnard board is easily the nicest, friendliest place I’ve been on CC. The girls here really sent an amazing example for themselves.</p>
<p>I wrote a comfort note for myself to read incase I got rejected. haha… I stored the note in my make-up box.

<p>I’m in my APES class right now, doing a project and flipping out. When are they mailing? </p>
<p>I had a nightmare last night in which I was waitlisted, but they told me “We never go to our waitlist, so take this as a rejection.” So I flew to NYC to try to convince them that they had room for me. So they revoked my waitlist and gave me a rejection. Then, my parents made me go to community college because they didn’t feel like paying for one of the other schools that took me. I woke up at like…3 AM crying because it scared me so badly.</p>

I just ran home during lunch to get the mail. Got my big envelope from Mount Holyoke (I already knew I had been accepted online) and got another envelope from Bates. I was waitlisted at Bates, which actually surprised me because I had early on convinced myself I would get rejected. Bates, in all honesty, was last on my list so I’m not bummed at all. I’m actually kind of optimistic that I was waitlisted and not rejected. It gives me hope for my more competitive schools like Wellesley and Barnard where I showed way more interest!</p>
<p>hmm long runon sentences. weird. sorry. I hear back from Bryn Mawr at 4pm online today. we’ll see what happens!</p>

<p>I’m in yearbook right now because today is early release. I get to go home in less than and hour YAY (for the record, my school usually ends at 4:30, so it is, in fact, an early release for us). I just hope I have SOMETHING in my mailbox. Ugh.</p>
<p>Hi ladies! Totally new here! I’ve been lurking on these boards for a while and finally decided to start up an account. I’m on vacation and all I do is wait for the mail everyday which has gotten so frustrating! I’m SO nervous for Barnard! I called today and they send that they’re sending out decisions ON April 1. But who knows if that’s true? I mean, every school says that but I’ve already gotten three decisions so maybe our letters will come earlier?</p>
<p>All this waiting is killing me!</p>
<p>Ugh, nothing today. I did get my acceptance package from Clark U. though, I got accepted online about 2 months ago, and got a big scholarship. I had to chastise myself when I pulled it out of the mailbox because it was so big that I thought it was maybe another school and I was disappointed to see it was Clark. I had to change my attitude because I could very well end up going there. I wasn’t expecting that today though!</p>
