lots of luck to you girls still waiting!

thanks sweetetcetera! Congrats on getting in! :)

Thanks, sweetetcetera :)

I’m crossing all my fingers for those who still haven’t heard from Barnard yet… including myself. Good luck you guys!! :)

Good Luck to All. I feel def. better about Tomm. You guys are so comforting and sincere. I have never seen a such a strong relationship as the Anxiety Thread. You guys are really cool.

I’m so anxious! I just want the answer now. Which is most likely rejection.

Yikes, I’m nervous about tomorrow!! Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst and knowing that it’s not where you go, but what you do that matters.
Remember that, girls!

Ah, here’s hoping to tomorrow! Good luck everybody, and congrats to everybody who has been accepted, both to Barnard and the other great schools.

Have a good night, ladies!

Good night to you too! I’m wishing good luck for all of us:)

Ahhh…it’s finally Monday!

Best of luck to everyone! Know that you’re all completely fabulous. Also, regardless of the decision, I’ll be here to share comforting words :)

I’ve had a stomach virus and this is the first I’ve been out of bed for 15 hours. Ugh, the universe must really hate me if I get rejected today. :(

2 hours until the mail gets here…
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

2 hours for me too…

I got waitlisted at Barnard and Wellesley.
I had my mom drop it off at mail and I immediately filled out the waitlist cards for to send. Gonna see what happens. But hey, I haven’t been rejected from any of my schools! makes me feel a little better

Omg, you got your letter?

AHHH!!!

Englishivy (and any other waitlisted students): DO take time to let them know of any additional significant accomplishments you have had occur since you initially applied. And if you can, go visit. I don’t know the chances of getting off of the waitlist, but I would venture to guess that perhaps more students may need to forgo their spot due to financial concerns this year and if this is not so much a concern for you and your family, the chances for getting called off of the waitlist might be better than in the past…

just a guess on my part, but seems logical to me.

Best of luck to you all. And even if your college experience is not meant to be at Barnard, you all have outstanding qualities and capabilities to make your college experiences absolutely incredible!!!

I want to knoooow.

But at the same time…

I really don’t.

Rejected. :(

Okay, so now we know for sure why the passwords don’t work.
Squaregirl…you’ve been accepted into some pretty great places and you’ll get terrific educations at all of them. Smith/Holyoke and certainly Bryn Mawr are no slouches. Bryn Mawr in particular is verrry challenging.
Now you have the fun assignment of returning to your acceptances and learning all you can about the schools. This is where YOU get to turn the tables and accept or reject them. And I’m sure you’ll have as difficult a time doing that as Barnard did rejecting you.
Let’s keep in mind that this was a particularly - historically - tough year to get into college. Pat yourselves on the backs for doing as well as you’ve done.
Onward…life!

waitlisted :(

I’m pretty disappointed, only because the prospect of going to NYC was exciting. I think I’ll be attending BMC, which I’m definately happy with.
