<p>I got an EW from Swat on March 17th (last last Friday)!!! I’m overjoyed, and incredibly honored. !!! No amount of exclamation points can capture my satisfaction. 
Congrats to my fellow acceptees, and good luck to those that are still waiting! My friend summed up the waiting period quite nicely: “abject terror”.</p>
<p>As to why I was admitted early–no idea. I’m an Asian American living in a middle class family in a small town in Southeastern Washington. I had good numbers, the usual ECs, and essays that I worked quite hard on.</p>
<p>I visited Swat last summer, didn’t go to Discovery Weekend, and am unsure about Ride the Tide (I’d really like to go again, but my parents don’t want to fork over money for plane tickets since I’ve visited already).</p>
