@keepyourshirton or get increasingly more panicked until we read the email

@ crusader

Or you can start laughing at Cornell anxiety club, they get decisions on Monday LOL

The only thing I can be glad for (well, not /glad/) is that I have a practice IB history paper on Friday. So tomorrow night, I’ll be so busy studying my butt off that I won’t have time to panic. I just hope that I don’t suddenly think about Stanford in the middle of my essay and start writing about how much I don’t want to be rejected as a cause of the Spanish Civil War or something.

If you get rejected will you guys try again via regular decision?

No we cannot, rejected is rejected

Wait, when exactly is the decision coming out? Is it this Sunday (15th) or before that?

Friday at 3 PM PST.

This thread is indeed the Stanford Anxiety Club. Today, my teacher went on a 30 minute rant about college decisions. Not helping my fanatic worry.

“Ugh I need to avoid this thread until Friday and seriously finish up my other college apps once and for all!” I say as I press refresh again.

@crusader543 I just refreshed this page like 5 more times after seeing your post. I feel ya.

I was looking through my common app and realized that I seriously lowballed on the time spent for a lot of my activities. Hurrah!

@#yoloswag I’ve never heard anyone use the term “lowballed” before…runs to urban dictionary

EDIT: Yay, learned a new word today!

@starly
Me too! Turns out it isn’t exactly the best word to use in that context since it implies intentional deception, not me being an idiot haha :)

@#yoloswag Naw, it just shows you being human. PLUS, when you get in, you can feel even better about yourself knowing that you got even with understating yourself.

That’s a good way to look at it! Assuming that whole acceptance thing happens haha :)

I’ve pretty much passed the time by rewatching the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit in preparation for the midnight premier this Friday (what a wonderful way to drown out the sorrow of being rejected or celebrate an acceptance).

@HinduPowers The visuals for Hobbit are SO stunning! And the midnight premiere sounds like an excellent plan no matter what happens. :)

Hey ccers, how come on the Stanford REA website it says decisions come out on Sunday the 15th whereas everyone here says it’s on friday the 13th?
