Is there a thread for RD applicants?

I got accepted with a financial aid award for about 30,500, but right now my dad is unemployed. If my dad gets a job before I fill out fafsfa will that change significantly?

You will need to refile forms early next year with 2013 tax return, a new fafsa, CSS profile etc. You will probably need to keep talking to the school for a few months.

Sounds good, thanks texaspg!

Hello, I was just wondering what to do if I missed the priority filing date for the CSS profile for REA. I understand (or read from a handbook a friend gave me) that Stanford requires all students applying for aid to fill out both the CSS and FAFSA. Can I still fill out the CSS, and is there an advantage in not waiting for my family’s tax forms for the year first?

Have any of you that got accepted received anything in the regular mail yet?

Since no one has responded so far…I’ll try to help. First of all… Congratulations!! The “acceptance package” usually takes about 1-2 weeks to arrive…depending on where you live…

…you will be receiving lots of different mailings little by little to get your K’s mojo and anticipatory excitement going…leading up to AdmitWeekend in April…and matriculation in September…

@Parent1337, I live on the East Coast and I have received my thick envelope. I’m pretty sure they ship all these things with super priority status.

I have not yet received anything in the mail. Anyone else in the same boat?

We have received the package sent via FeDex on 19 Dec.

Package came today

Documents and a window cling! Hoorah

Hello everyone,i will be applying Rd in Stanford.I was wondering if Stanford takes two Candidate from same countries.I mean I know that they Value diversity. And one of my friend got accepted in REA .So does it affect my chances???

THank you

2 from 1 country is not a lot you know. Same school?
As the parent of an international, I can tell you that my daughter is one of 4 freshmen from our country. All from different schools though.
I really don’t think they have quotas in that sense. And I’m sure it changes from one year to the other.

Hi everyone,

I just had a question.
How do we send an update to Stanford Admissions regarding significant new developments and awards?

Thanks
