<p>Bayarea, do NOT worry about not getting into Amherst, or any other college! You have AMAZING stats and I’m sure that a lack of ECs at least shows that you had GREAT dedication in your academic life (especially for the upward trend! I wish that was my trend in my report card hehe). I’m sure you will in at Amherst–and if you don’t, other colleges might not seem so bad. I mean heck, I got rejected by four colleges and waitlisted by five… I was really upset at first (you have no idea), but whatever I do, I know in the long run I will be happy with whatever choice I make.
