<p>To find your UC GPA, count all of your classes as if they were regular, non-weighted classes. So a C in an Ap class is worth 2 pts, a C in a regular/honors class is worth 2 points. After you have your unweighted GPA, add 8 points to your score if you have taken at least 8 semesters of AP classes, which it sounds like you have. So if you have an unweighted gpa of 80 out of 100…3.4, then your UC gpa is a 88/100, or a 3.52. </p>
<p>And to your question. The UCs say specificly that a UC gpa of 3.4 is required to even be considered for admission. Like I said, you have a lot of things going for you and they may make an exception. Talk to some people who know more about this issue.</p>
