<p>There’s treadmills and a few weight machines at Wade (which is in the middle of the freshman dorms). For a pool, you have to go over to Veale (on the south side of the engineering quad). There are two pools in Veale, both are very nice, and there are open swim hours every day.<br>
You also have the option to take swimming as a gym class (and you’re required to take a year of gym, so you might as well take something you enjoy for at least part of it). The Endurance Swimming is more designed for people that already swim, but if that doesn’t fit into your schedule, you can take the Beginner/Intermediate class instead (the majority of the class just swam laps when I took it last fall).</p>
