<p>The same thing happened to me and I was just notified this Sunday (missing teacher rec apparently).</p>
<p>Is it true that they do not start reading your file until everything is received (including teacher recs)? If true, would this disadvantage one in any way since his or her application will be read very late in the process?</p>

<p>hi, i’m in the same boat. i asked both of my teachers to fax the recs, but yale still hasn’t received one of them. my admissions officer said i’d still be considered for early action but i’m really concerned…</p>
<p>My admissions officer said that this happens all the time and it might just be a processing error on their end because they have so much paper to deal with and that it’ll in NO way hurt your application. So no worries, they understand 
as long as you get it in ASAP.</p>
