<p>What To Bring
Essential Items: Pillows and linens for an extra-long twin bed, mattress pad, towels, personal hygiene items, shower caddy, shower shoes, bathrobe, hangers, laundry basket, detergent, quarters, fan, tack gum (to hang posters), dishes, alarm clock, stereo, flashlight, computer disks, surge protectors (for all electronic equipment), backpack, dictionary/thesaurus, stationery/school supplies, study and/or room lamp (no halogens), wastebasket, umbrella, sewing kit, first-aid kit, and cleaning products and equipment. (Housing personnel clean student bathrooms and areas outside student rooms and suites only; students are responsible for cleaning their rooms.)</p>

<p>Suggested Items: Computer or typewriter (state-of-the-art public computing facilities are readily available for those without their own computer) and cable-ready television (all bedrooms are equipped with cable television outlets, providing approximately 40 channels of local, network, and cable programming).</p>

<p>What Not To Bring
Ovens, hot plates, air conditioners, pets (other than fish), nails, candles, extension cords, and halogen lamps.</p>
