<p>My son was a recruited athlete for 2011. He received an LOA in November, which basically said he had a spot as long as he met certain conditions (i.e., nomination, cleared by Dodmerb). He did his nomination interviews in November, but in our State they did not issue the nominations until late December/early January. Everything was completed by early January, but I don’t think he received his actual appointment until sometime in March or April. Hope that helps.
