<p>If you have an LOA and a Nomination you still may have to wait for your medical to clear. If you are waiting for some kind of medical waiver you won’t get the appointment until a waiver is granted. LOA’s typically are conditional on getting the nomination and completion of medical and any outstanding file issues. To my knowledge AFA usually only gives LOA’s with nominations and medical pending but I understand that WP has given LOA’s before the file is otherwise complete and would not be surprised if AFA did that as well for recruited athletes.</p>
