My S24 hasnā€™t received his decision yet. Iā€™ve seen everyone mentions that they have been accepted or waistlisted. I couldnā€™t believe they saved the rejections until last, that would be cruel. My son has 7 waitlisted, he really needs this answer to be positive. This long wait is a torture.

Is it true that only rejections are pending from Reed?
Iā€™m yet to get a decision. It was my target uni! Iā€™m getting so depressed rn.

They donā€™t save the rejections for last, they send out the decisions in waves based on when you applied. The application deadline was extended this year, and it is likely the reason for the long wait.

Reed is still sending me promotional emails but I havenā€™t received a decision yet ughā€¦I applied during the extended deadline which is probably why I havenā€™t gotten a decision yet and I wish I applied earlier now :sob:

This anxiety is not healthy. Entertain yourself with an activity: watch a movie, play your favorite video game, focus on some schoolwork, or go for a walk. At this moment, thereā€™s nothing more we can do but wait.

Has any one from the waitlist received decision. I received mine I got rejected :joy:. I am international I got accepted with fully ride at University of Messina in bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. I was no longer interested in Reed college

I learned this while watching an interview with a senior admissions officer at Reed College. Reed places most of their applicants on the waitlist, and they admit no more than 1.4% from it. To admit students from the waitlist, they consider many factors, including financial aid needs, demographics, and many other criteria. I knew that it wouldnā€™t be possible for me to get off the waitlist because I needed a lot of financial aid.
