<p>Your basic assumption is wrong. That’s what we’ve been trying to say the whole time.</p>
<p>None of my sets have more than 5 problems. None of the problems are rewordings of the previous problems. I don’t think anyone can call Caltech problem set questions “mechanical.” If anything, I think Caltech problem sets can use more “mechanical” stuff. Often times, it feels as if we breeze through way too much material way too fast. </p>
<p>Of course, you’re expected to use your own time to understand things you didn’t fully understand. You won’t be given twenty different questions of the same type to make sure you understand the material, like in high school.</p>
