Regents/Chancellor's scholarships

<p>Scholars Day invitations go out to the top 5% of applicants. Maybe someone else knows for sure, but I’m guessing as many as 1000 get the invitation. The University is trying to increase the yield from this high achieving group. There are tours, a nice lunch, a few presentations, and lots of people to answer your questions. It’s an Open House just for the top candidates. </p>

<p>Undoubtedly nearly all Regents and Chancellors winners will come from this group but with only 100 Regent and (I’m guessing) 20 Chancellor Scholars awarded each year, the odds are tough.</p>

<p>See link below for UCLA’s Regent program description. UCSD’s might not be exactly the same, but would be very similar.</p>
