@MYOS1634 I agree 100%. I was thinking that attending another school, even if an airplane is required, may be “cheaper.” Quinnipiac is very, very expensive.
I am wondering what schools this student likes in Florida or California, and what it is besides location that makes them attractive.
I’m in total agreement with what is said above. Quinnipiac University COA is ~$62K/yr if living on campus, a high cost for a mediocre school. OP, what is your net COA at Quinnipiac? What are your Stats and major?
A number of public universities in Florida have COA less than $35K per year and private colleges in Florida can be about the same or less with merit scholarships.
At the summer camp I attended as a child, we slept five girls to a platform tent, had to walk uphill 15 minutes to breakfast every morning very early, and had to do daily chores on a rotating basis, including cleaning the communal bathrooms. There were lots of bugs, including the biting kind.
While this is all true, it is also tongue in cheek. At said camp, I learned a lot, made friends, and explored its small library of classic books. The point is that college is what you make of it and the most important ingredient is the academics and if they will meet your needs. Barring a course of study that Quinnipiac doesn’t offer, you should be able to find classes and people that you will enjoy. Try to remember why you applied in the first place.
