<p>eesachs, haven’t heard of any in the past. But you should think about your FinAid situation carefully. Chances are, with an EFC of $0, you would actually get more through need-based financial aid than through one of the merit awards. In other words, should you 1) get an invitation for Trustee (full tuition), 2) pay to travel out for the interview, 3) be lucky enough to be selected to receive the Trustee–the amount of your award might then likely be subtracted from your FinAid grant anyway. Since any FinAid package will take the total COA (including tuition, travel, books, room & board, etc) and then subtract scholarships, you may not gain anything big. OTOH, if your family’s financial situation is due to change (upward) that might suggest a merit scholarship would at least be stable?</p>
