MENU is a more abstract mathematics curriculum whereas MMSS supposedly has a more example-based approach but I’ve found MMSS to be plenty theoretical alongside its example based approach.</p>

<p>MMSS also particularly relevant if you’re looking at a career in finance as the program has a very tight and approachable alumni base in finance and consulting, along with specific recruiting solely for MMSS students. </p>

<p>Another option is to be in MMSS and replace the MMSS first year math curriculum with the MENU math sequence. This requires special permission but that permission is almost always granted, especially to MMSS students who go asking for it. One student in my year chose to follow that curriculum, and he’s doing great with that choice.
