Ah no issues in high school. I will ask some more counselors about my common app. And superharvard, 1530 is about average for international kids. I would retake if you get the chance, perhaps try ACT.
Wait! 3.9 gpa and 36 ACT??? My friend was accepted with a similar gpa but way worse test scores (27 act equivalent). I dont get why you did not get in! Did you show interest?
What is a country club singer?
I’m not buying what is being sold here, but some of you are.
Revise your strategy and apply to some EAs asap. With your stats, likely you will do better than Michigan State.
Michigan State doesn’t require a recommendation, just a 400 word essay and a transcript. So something must have been very wrong with the essay or someone is playing games. I don’t think MSU worries much about yield projection.
Chief assistant vice president is quite a mouthful. But I can’t find anything on google about United Right.
We have a blog and facebook page with about 2.8 thousand followers each
I think it’s ur politics. If I were u, I would not include political activities on ur apps. If u have it on the common app, can u change?
No my weighted is like a 5.4
I think I will be valedictorian
You got rejected for one of two reasons.
- Michigan State thought you weren’t being genuine
- Your political views, I’d advise you don’t cite “The United Right” on your future apps. I just checked out the facebook page and there is some very controversial content on that page. When it comes to college applications politics isn’t something you want to advertise.
I also want to add that when I went to the United Right, I saw a lot of anti-Semitic posts there. If the person reviewing your application is Jewish or is close to someone who is Jewish or is morally opposed to Antisemitism, it’s going to hurt your chances of getting in.
Oh yeah I agree. My coworkers posts will be assosciated with me.
In eyes of admissions
they probably thought u were too good lol
http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg02_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=1771 indicates that Michigan State University does consider “level of applicant’s interest”.
both parents, grandparents, 8 older sibs as alumni and you didn’t get in? 36 act? Either it was the Trump thing or they made a mistake. Maybe they don’t like Trump
You are overqualified
So you got rejected
My guess is ‘forbidden word’ :).
Ditto
So you are a brand new CC member. You created the account to complain that MSU rejected you even though your grades and stats are essentially perfect but you are a Trump supporter. I’m not buying it either.
But I applaud your creative attempt to inject politics into a non-political forum.
