One of my kids also was rejected by Wesleyan, his first-choice school. His stats were similar to yours. He was WL’ed by Haverford and accepted by several slightly less selective LACs. He’s attending Colorado College, loves it, and is thriving there. I’ve been very impressed with this school (the friendly people, beautiful setting, block plan, and academic quality).

I’m not saying this is necessarily the right place for you, just trying to encourage you. Rejections are normal when you apply to reach schools. Many of the other schools you mention are about as selective as CC (Vassar and Davidson are a little more so). You could have a pretty good spread with schools from that list, as long as you be sure to add at least 1 admission & financial safety (maybe your state flagship?) That’s assuming you are comfortable with them. I’m a little puzzled by your statement that “super small liberal schools” don’t interest you, but then that’s just what most of your listed schools are. Colby isn’t much smaller (and no more liberal) than most of those.
