<p>You might want to consider the difference in faculty quality between ND and Michigan:</p>

<p>If you are going to do Philosophy or Religion, then ND is pretty high (16th & 12th), but otherwise they have no other Humanities departments in the top 60. They have no social sciences in the top 40, no engineering depts in the top 20 (highest are 24th & 25th), no physical sciences in the top 40, and no biological sciences in the top 70.</p>

<p>Michigan is usually in the top 25 for most departments and often in the top 10.</p>
