<p>I don’t think I see any passion in your application. For example, you’re in Key Club but only a committee head. Why not take a bigger role? I’ve been on the state board for Key Club for two years and we always have had people who were just committee heads as Lt. Governors (unless they have a really competitive division). What Key Club district are you from? Were you a golden member winner or a distinguished officer? I think your Intel Project and your internship are unique. If you play chess, are you ranked? Do you have a rating? If you want to be a doctor, you can volunteer for your EMS squad. I think if you can convey passion for what you do in your essays, you are set. Good luck. I hope I helped and wasn’t just rambling.</p>

<p>Well Key Club in our school has 120 people. Idk what division I am. Its the Bronx Manhattan district. I wasn’t able to get a position. I was in Chess Club not on chess team. I am also going to volunteer a bit at a local hospital over the summer and probably enroll in the s-prep application at columbia (which is a program designed for future doctors). I am also going to try to shadow a doctor as well and get a job at Starbucks since I do need the money.</p>

<p>Another suggestion would be to watch out for how you want others to perceive you. When you write your essay or go in for your interview, surely, you do not want to use the same tone you’re using towards us… some of your comments aren’t exactly chipper.</p>
