Well, I splurged and bought two oxygen concentrators to replace the liquid oxygen reservoir and portables that my Durable Medical Equipment company had been supplying. I decided it is less stress for me to get EXACTLY what I want instead of having to deal with my insurer and this company any more. One concentrator is large and supplies my needs while I sleep. The other two are smaller—one is good for travel while the smallest one is for exercise and activity.
The good thing is these machines are able to supply extra oxygen in case I get ill and need more than usual. These machines are better and quieter than all the machines the durable medical equipment company offered.
I’m letting packages sit in the garage a day or two before I open them.
Yankee Candle had a fabulous sale (probably still on if you are interested) of large candles for $11 rather than the usual $29.99. I bought a wreath for the door from Pier 1 for $20. We’ve ordered a few essentials from Amazon. We also bought my high school student a laptop as soon as his school closed.
While I wouldn’t want to appear to be buying only because things are cheap, businesses DO need business. It would be great if you find any websites that are offering % off, sales, etc. please post in the “Good Buy” thread!
I actually purchased items online today. DS is sleeping with winter weight duvet and insert and he’s smothering. I ordered a new cotton duvet cover and think insert. I was going to buy before summer, but it’s needed now!
Except for a bidet - which is supposed to be delivered on April 7th and a small order of shampoo, mouth wash and body wash from Amazon, i haven’t bought anything else. H did have to buy new wireless earbuds because his went missing last week.
I’m not a big shopper to begin with and I only shop at a small boutique for clothes and occasionally at Saks - but since I’m not going anywhere and have no special engagements for which I might have had to shop for - there is no reason for me to buy anything. All I’m wearing these days is leggings, top and hoodie.
