<p>You might as well get the citizenship as long as there are no downsides. It would strengthen your case, and as long as you can be a dual citizen with no problems then why not?</p>
<p>Theres no dual citizenship between Australia and PNG. But yes, once I get the visa for America I’ll start the process for becoming a PNG citizen.</p>
