Rental car bait & switch

I have to say that we rent with some frequency and, I hope I’m not jinxing myself but we rarely have issues. The biggest frustration we’ve had is when every shuttle but the one we need comes by and we’re standing around for way too long for the shuttle. And, after waiting in some very long lines to get my car, we’ve joined the loyalty programs of just about all the major car rental agencies so we can just walk directly to the car. I’m hoping that poor customer service stories here really are the exception rather than becoming the rule. So sorry to those who have had bad experiences.
