<p>Study abroad comment: Only a small portion of P’ton’s study abroad during the school year (<15%, in comparison to 50% at Dartmouth); most of P’ton’s the “study abroad” students travel overseas in summer, so kids interested in study abroad should ask detailed questions about programs of their interest. </p>
<p>Did Mr. R mention if/how they measured the success of their “bold stand” (dropping ED)? Of coruse, the PR machine will say its a success, but how many more unadvantaged kids did they attract? UVa ended up with less than ten additional low income matriculants this year after spending all that time & money traveling the US (with P & H).</p>
