Hello,
I transferred to this public school in south Florida and took the psats here. I’m not sure who my counselor is, and we have midterms this week, so I don’t see all my teachers. Do certain teachers (eg, reading teacher only) hand out psat scores, do I need to find my counselor, or are the results being sent through the mail?

@Rainhorse‌

You would have to see your counselor. If that doesn’t work, you could always use the “hack” method to indirectly obtain your results. The hack method matched my paper score report perfectly, so it is reliable. But I would check with your guidance counselor first.

@3boystogo: Thank you! :)

Do you know what the Oklahoma cutoff is? It doesn’t matter for me (this is freshman year), but I was just curious.

Score: 214

OK has been in the 206-210 range for the last nine years.

234 (74CR/80M/80W)
I’m in California.

226 - (80CR/73M/73W)
Soph. Score 217
I was expecting higher (especially on math), but I’ll easily make the PA cutoff, so I’m satisfied.

77CR 76M 80W- 233

happy to see an improvement from the sophomore 209 and should be good for PA

I got a 234 (78 cr, 80 math, and 76 writing) and I already have a 2340 sat. I’m in california, does anyone know if I can make semifinalist? thanks

@ragingstorm The cutoff has never been even close to that high, anywhere. Great job!!! Congratulations!

@Socks14 i got a 202 and I’m from NY, however the percentile for the whole nation is 97 :slight_smile:

Perplexed. I have been eagerly watching the mailbox for a couple of weeks now waiting for my son’s score. We’re in California, and homeschooling. I see a lot of other Californians, including homeschoolers, have received their scores already. Are there any others from California (Silicon Valley/Santa Cruz area) that have not yet received theirs? Palm’s method says he got 220. It would be great to confirm.

@3boystogo Thanks! I know I can make the cutoff, but I think that only gets me to commended, right? Do you know anything about how high a score needs to be to get semifinalist?

raging storm that score-234-is high enough for semifinalist
