<p>sbjdorlo, Stanford has general education requirements for all undergraduates, including area (distribution) requirements, writing/rhetoric, and language. The area requirements do include math. I haven’t met many people here who are weak in math, but I think the least-demanding math classes that fulfill the minimun requirement are probably intro stats, intro single-variable calc, and beginning programming (involving basic discrete math).</p>
