Requirements for Architecture School?

The answer to both of your questions is no. Many high schools do not even have any architecture classes, so they do not necessarily expect you to have too much experience on the subject. Same goes for AP Physics; although if you do have the chance to take it, it will reflect well in terms of challenging yourself with difficult courses. Not all schools want portfolios, but for the ones that do, they are looking for technical skill in drawing/craft as well as the more intangible design ability.
