Resume/College Profile

You should (if possible) refrain from attaching a resume to the Common Application, especially considering how much reading admission officers have to do. You wouldn’t want to annoy them. Definitely don’t attach anything that rehashes what you’ve already said. If you’re using the “Activities” page of the Common App, simply list the activities that are most important to you first. This is a good rule of thumb: whenever you have a space constraint (i.e., one page) you should always make it a point to list whatever is most important to you. Also, it would be good to show some area of focus/concentration when crafting your activities section/resume. More so now that ever before, highly selective colleges seem to like people who are specialized/highly passionate about one or two things. So you may want to leave some of your activities out.
