<p>I left teaching and returned to the library system. As we all know, not a highly lucrative career!!! We are modest folks. 
Glad your investments went well. We figure we are lucky in so many ways; house will be paid off in two more years, kids are through college, we have defined benefit retirement plan, we have our health and each other, we like beans and rice. Life is good! </p>
