<p>Josh Brown is on Fast Money usually at 12. I like the Fast Money guys, they’re a lot more entertaining than the rest of the shows.</p>
<p>Oh yea, I thinking of hosts not guests; but Downtown Josh Brown is on so often he is probably more of a host than a guest.</p>
<p>I think Fast Money is one of the better shows.</p>
<p>vxx leaks; xiv is the inverse and benefits from the same forces that cause vxx to leak.</p>
<p>I had to google Abigail Dolittle(with a name like that what do you expect), she is not a babe according to my high standard :D. But I think Kelly Evans is beautiful. </p>

<p>My investing story I have to share I had invested in a biochemical stock some time ago. It had dropped in price a bit so I bought some more (a huge % was owned by one hedge fund and I was thinkin they must see something in the stock to own that much). It was creeping back up and wiped out my losses plus a few thousand gain. Almost sold half of it the Friday but didn’t. I almost always end up kicking myself when I don’t sell ( I am really bad at selling - I get greedy when the price is rising). Woke up Monday and checked premarket praying if wasn’t going to tank as I knew I had too high a % of our IRA in it. What a shock - a completely unexpected buyout was announced at a 230% premium!!! The buyout does not finalize quite yet but I sold for a few cents less than the buyout price increasing our IRA by just over 70% - I’d like to say it was clever investing but in all honesty, sheer dumb luck.</p>
<p>They say money can’t buy happiness, but boy was I happy all week. I am in a job I am getting to dislike more each day and was feeling rather trapped - not quitting yet but I am suddenly at the minimum investment goal I had set myself where I can if it gets unbearable. Going to nurse it a lot more cautiously now as I realize this was probably a once in a lifetime piece of luck. I don’t think I ever want to to the puts and calls thing. For a start, I don’t quite understand it. And the stock I held was one a log of people did that with and some must have had a huge loss. I must admit the high heights in the market are making me a little nervous. Wondering if I should go more cash especially as I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks and can’t keep as close a track.</p>

<p>@swimcatsmom, I take any sheer dumb luck I can get. Nice story. I too thought I had a moment of sheer dumb luck when I bought a Fidelity Select Biotech, It went zoomed and zoomed due to some biotech stock that went up 230%, luckily I sold at a profit but not 230%.</p>
<p>Thank you - I still can’t quite believe it. Kind of nice to have an anonymous place to share it - not exactly something you go round telling people in real life ( people at work were probably wondering why my recently crabby self was humming happily on Monday). My husband retired very young and has lots of health issues. We had a very healthy 401k but after 20 years living on it and the market fluctuations and a lot of medical over the last couple of years, it was getting a little worrying. I must admit, I probably took a few risks which I do not advise. This just really was amazing. Going to be a whole lot more careful now because I know it could have gone the other way. </p>

Well, I have a few different type of accounts, for the trading account I’m more aggressive. Any gain I made, I withdraw money and transfer to my vacation account. My regular account is less aggressive and there is another one I let the experts manage it.</p>
<p>Follow the hedge fund is a good strategy, I think Einhorn(a hedge fund guy) was on TV discussing Micron(MU),and I got in because he made a nice case for it,made some money, but who would have thought about this stock, it has been such a downer for years.</p>
