I simply meant. BCM isn’t for everyone. It’s an intense place. You need to love it fully. Stick with USC if that’s more your thing. The two schools have very different approaches. Don’t choose only by name either. You may be miserable at x school in four years. Consider everything equally. In terms of an easier undergrad life, I’m not discreding USC in anyway, but I am saying that Rice caters ONLY to the cream of the crop, while USC is a mixture of bright individuals.

<p>As far as I know, R/B is only available to incoming freshmen. </p>
<p>Yes, R/B students are guaranteed a spot @ BCM if the meet all program requirements and, of course, graduate from Rice.</p>
