Got 9 rejections in 9 minutes yesterday (Ivy Day). Prepped myself for Stanford rejection today!

Honestly, Rice starting the email with ‘Great News!’ was not cool. I thought I was in and they were only saying, we are releasing today…
@aarybalkar I felt the same way too but I applied to half of them not all. Reading rejection letter after rejection letter was painful. Especially the school that can no longer be my number one. Throughout today I’ve swerved in and out of tears and joy. I’m awaiting Rice. I feel your pain and your worry. If only we could hold hands and pray and wait together. I wish you the best of luck.
I got waitlisted at columbia cornell and dartmouth yesterday so my hopes aren’t very high

I have 0 reach acceptances as well. This process has kinda sucked. Im hoping Rice will change my fortunes but I doubt it. It is what it is I guess. Im going to end up being the kid that frames his rejection letters for motivation lmaooo

@h8annah @anuragdv30 I have 0 acceptances total. I may sound like a sob story guy now, repeating it on the forums… But I really need to vent out my anxiety here, rather than elsewhere. Rice is one of my last pieces of hope. I only have Stanford (probably know where that is going), NYU and Tulane after this…

I am not having great luck with reach schools either…hoping for Rice as well. Got into a couple of targets (but got very little money)…so, which is worse?..getting rejected from a school you love or getting in and finding you can’t afford it?
