Did anyone get an email from rice titled “waitlist request from rice university”? They basically asked me to confirm my interest. Not sure if this is a good sign or not!
i got it too, but when i go to the portal to accept theres an error message

I received the error as well! Wonder what happened.
I received the email as well! I get the following message when I open the confirmation form:
“According to our records, you are not eligible to accept a place on the waitlist. Please contact us immediately if you believe this to be in error.”

Just got an email saying the problem was fixed. I filled out the form. Let’s hope for the best!
Has anyone heard anything? Is it time to abandon all hope and dreams of Rice? I appreciate if you can post if you got off-while I will for sure be envious, I can be happy it worked out for someone and it will also allow me to somewhat close my expectations. Do the schools notify you the waitlist is closed? I know Harvard did (disappointing but I was happy to know so I could stop dreaming)
