<p>My daughter went to Visions last year and had a wonderful experience. They do only pay for the student, so I had to send a 17 year old across the country for the first time alone. When she missed the shuttle due to missing her connecting flight - they paid for the taxi. Her time spent there was good, she is still friends with her host! She now attends Rice and absolutely loves it! I asked her at the time if anyone indicated that the Vision kids were accepted and she said the President spoke at the dinner and said he hoped all of them chose Rice in the fall. We are from Ohio and the weather in Houston helped to seal the deal, also!!</p>
