I don’t really understand that hat problem…
if communication is allowed, then obviously, everyone can know the color of the hat by communicating with the person behind them.
therefore communication must be banned. in THAT case, how are the prisoners supposed to know the color of their hats? are the 10 hats 10 unique colors? and can prisoner 10 guess first, (saying it out loud), thus revealing to #1-9 what his hat color was?</p>
