Ring Weekend

Hi there am a new member and me and some friends are trying to arrange a road trip to visit the ring weekend of 30th july and wondered if the public will be able to go on the track ? i have read about the VLN racing being there that weekend?
It is hard to know this far in advance the exact schedule, and if you are coming from OS then you have to suck it up really. Days tentatively marked as taken are taken, days marked as open can suddenly become closed or change to evening only sessions. IE - it only gets worse.
can anyone reconmend hotel?

I think Ring Weekend 2010 for the Class of 2011 is actually around August 20th, not at the end of July.

Yes, it was 21-23 August 2010 - what a great weekend despite the torrential rain. I suspect spencesmith was not really planning to attend…

Old home week for me, wandering through my thread and others.

$1000 is the low end!!! I know mine was $640. And it’s currently…um…recon-ing the objective, as I left it at home over Christmas. Mom found it and is holding on to it until I get back from Afghanistan. Of course, I am legendary at losing things and only posted my Ring Weekend pictures to my Facebook…two or three months ago? I’m '06.

Nice to hear form you bzzzt - it’s been a long time! Stay safe in Afghanistan.
