I met @CAtransplant on here; we first started having conversations because our D17s had similar interests and were looking at a lot of the same schools. Turned out we only lived about 10 miles apart, and we became IRL friends… and then she introduced me to a bunch of CC people that I hadn’t known earlier (because I hadn’t spent much time in the “parent cafe”), so I owe a lot of friendships to her. I’m sure many people here knew her, as she was active when her D20 was applying too. She became ill in the spring of 2021 and passed away later that year. She loved the CC community and was always so interested in everybody and their kids.
