I have lots of family in Wyoming. They joke that there are two seasons in Wyoming - August and Winter. Not far off. Also that the state bird is the mosquito.

Pretty close I think (badlands area) we stayed here and enjoyed. They make a homemade granola that we bought the postcard recipe for and make at home. A pistachio cherry.
