My D received $1500/yr. Hooray! However, the source noted that federal funding for the scholarship may be eliminated next year. George Bush is pushing to eliminate all federal funding for scholarships or need-based financial aid named for Democrats. He has not included a single scholarship named for a Republican on his elimination list. If you all want to keep your scholarships, write your Senators and Congressmen!</p>
