<p>While I heartedly agree with you, some marketers believe that there is no such thing as bad publicity as long as it gets your name out there (which I disagree with).</p>

<p>Although ~I~ find them an incredible annoyance and turn off, I imagine robocalls (and spam e-mail, faxes, etc.) must get results, otherwise it wouldn’t be as big an industry as it is.</p>

Who gets the robo, “are your carpets DIRty???” Gaaaaaahhhh. It’s on its second life now. AND the energy savings programs…
We check the incoming numbers now, always from some odd place, and just don’t answer. If it’s important they’ll leave a voice msg and they never do. Now I can hardly wait to get some live solicitors so I can tell them whoever it is they are trying to call is dead.</p>
