Like many things, there are always two sides to them. 
Let’s look at the size difference in terms of student enrollment. Michigan’s engineering and BBA alone already equal the entire NU undergrad. I am sure you can do the rest of the math as far as scales go. Most of those Michigan alums probably majored in math, engineering, or econ, etc. instead of BBA anyway. My point was to refute your comment about MMSS’ placement being “subdued” or “pretty standard”.
