Not that I know of. You do have to pass Calculus to be a business major. That kept S1 out of the School of Business. I’m not sure that you apply straight to a business major or enter into it at some point. You could always start as liberal arts and then transfer to business. Undecided might be a good way to go! You could also call the admissions office and ask them. Education is another fairly competitive major to get into.

This is from collegeboard.com and refers to transfer students, but gives you an idea of which majors are harder to get into. “2.5 GPA required for business, nursing, communications, education and psychology. Engineering requires 3.0 GPA and specific courses.”

Those scores don’t even guarantee a transfer is accepted. You can see that engineering is the toughest.

I was told that they like to see at least a 3.0 and 1070 (I think it was that).

Jason, you might be waiting a little while while they see how the other apps look. The deadline isn’t until 3/1. You are in the ballpark, but not sure if it matter whether you applied as bus major or something else.

Oooh, I just found this. “Our Business program attracts high-achieving students whose SAT I scores are above the Rowan mean” You might want to call and see if it matters if you choose to start in a different major on your app, if your SAT’s are a little weak.
That info was hard to find…[Rohrer College of Business @ Rowan University](<a href=“William G. Rohrer College of Business | College of Business | Rowan University”>William G. Rohrer College of Business | College of Business | Rowan University)
