Hey all! Everyone here has some amazing backgrounds. I’m also applying to RUE this year. I’m 31 and a community college student… I skipped college after high school bc I did poorly in school and I was recovering from a traumatic youth. I spent a lot of time traveling and working… I found out last summer that I have ADHD and once I realized why I had a hard time in school, despite being smart, I went back to college.
I have a 4.0 with strong humanities classes, science, and foreign language. I took the ACT in Feb (with a total of three months to study for it ?) and managed to get a 33 composite.
My biggest weakness on my application are EC’s but I managed to be featured in regional papers for some of the things I did, including starting an community arts program at my job.
I hope I stand a chance, y’all sound incredible.
