<p>I’m at the age where some of my friends have retired recently. Biggest complaints that the wives have about their husbands–they insist that the wives always be around them (can’t be left alone) and they start to micromanage their wives (“Honey, this is a better way to organize the grocery shopping list.” As if the wives haven’t been doing it for decades…).</p>
<p>Maybe retirement isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be (as if we’ll ever find out…). Anyone check H’s 401K today…</p>

WHen talking about retirement- I mention that I would love to do the peace corps or similar- & I have been trying to get rid of stuff over the years so I can do so ( while H tries to undo my efforts- reminds me of when I would put toys the kids hadn’t played with for 10 years on the porch for donation pickup & they would go through the bags and drag them back out)</p>
<p>H- wants to play in the garage in retirement, I think he envisions unlimited time to do his " projects", but I am thinking maybe he can finish up some of the ones he started when the kids were two- so that somebody’s grandkids can get some use out of it!
