My son was accepted to School of Arts and Sciences tonight but he never got a heads up that there was an update to his portal, he just randomly logged in and checked.

My daughter hasn’t heard either. Should I assume it’s bad news?
I just got accepted into Rutgers Business School NB for finance but they still have my SAS and Engineering as “In process”. I am so confused as to how they’re making these decisions
We haven’t heard either. The strange thing is my daughters rutgers group chat hasn’t had a single person say they heard tonight and it’s a big chat.
Don’t be worried, I got accepted into Business for Finance but they still haven’t made a decision for SAS where I applied as a biology major. I believe that it is easier to get into but I still haven’t heard back from them

No, not necessarily. They will continue to send out decisions tomorrow. And then another wave in a couple of weeks.
Any chance your daughter & her friends declared as education or psychology majors? Most of my daughter’s friends who were already accepted to SAS declared as undecided. She declared psychology and some others she knows who declared education haven’t heard anything yet.

Is everyone that has is hearing getting emails or just seeing it on the portal? Want to know whether to obsessively check, lol.

The email notifications don’t seem to always be sent out in advance. My daughter saw her decision on the portal on 11/18 but didn’t get the notification email until 11/19.
So you may want to check the portal periodically today. If no change, then wait for the next wave (probably in 2 weeks).

My daughter went undecided so this is making me worry.
Seriously though they get so many applications I’m sure it’s pretty random and we are overthinking.

Correct. So being undeclared doesn’t affect your acceptance.
When do they send out financial aid information?

My daughter also went undeclared and she got into SAS on Dec 17th and she got into RBS today, Still waiting on School of Pharmacy
