I just noticed my portal says decision made. How soon should I expect my decision to be released?
That means the decision is there already. Click āView Statusā.

Thereās a little lock symbol and it says check back soon for your decision. Maybe it hasnāt released yet??
Hmm, odd. Yes, possible but should be soon I would think. Check periodically.
not odd at all- there are 5 phases, each one turns red and the circle on the left changes to a checkmark once the application advances to the next phase. The last phase that has a checkmark next to it ( likely āunder reviewā) reflects the most recent status.
Agree about the 5 phases, but @sar104 said that last checkbox changed to āDecision Madeā. When my daughter had that on her portal she was able to click āView Statusā to see the decision.
Thanks for the help New Jersey dads! I hope it means it will get released tonight. I would hate to wait another week.

My sonās also says decisions made with a lock. I think itās been like that for quite awhile. Not sure it that just is the next steps that has not yet been released or if a decision has actually been made.
@sar104 Sorry, I misunderstood your earlier message. I didnāt realize you meant thereās a lock next to āDecision Madeā. That means that stage has not yet been reached. Once it has, you should see a checkmark next to it. See attached imageā¦
Once you see the checkmark your decision will be available to be viewed.

Has anyone heard if decisions will be released this week?
I am surprised we havenāt heard from Rutgers but I know a National Merit Semifinalist NJ student who hasnāt heard so that makes me feel better.

I thought we would all get it when I saw ppl in this thread getting their decisions but thereās still a lock on Decision Made
Hang in there. Youāll most likely hear by Monday/Tuesday next week, possibly sooner.
So a week or less.
I appreciate that, its makes me worry that I did something wrong on my app.
Waiting is definitely stressful, but Iām sure youāre fine because there are so many others here waiting to hear from Rutgers too! They typically announce around the 3rd week of December so stay tuned.

If you applied to New Brunswick Early Action and you get decision made and its admitted to Newark, does that mean you cannot get into New Brunswick?
You may want to review your application(s). Unless this is a new practice, an application to NB is not reviewed by Newark. Both share a portal, therefore you can apply, for example, to one NB school and also choose 4 addtl NB, Camden or Newark school(s)without incurring new fees . All decisions are independent. (My oldest two kids were accepted to multiple schools)
It is possible you may have selected Newark in error.
