My kid is a business major and lived on College Ave campus. It all works out. She is going to love it!
My daughter was an accounting major, lived on campus 2 years, can’t remember where her freshman dorm was (not Livingston) but she requested college ave. for sophomore year.
That’s my daughter’s major too. I saw your earlier post, and your daughter seems to have done really well with her degree from there. Was she in-state too? We’ll be out-of-state, so I’m curious how my daughter will adjust.
Oh I know it doesn’t actually work that way (as I said, I’m in the industry and have been for 30+ years), but it’s a perception I’ve come across from a few parents of HS kids considering R. Who wants to take a UI design course at a place that has horrible UI’s in most of their systems (even though they didn’t write them, but is a HS parent going to know that?).
Yep, in my original post I said my kid and his friends think the Livi food is great (though not worth a bus trip to get it), most other campuses not so much.
Mine is in-state.
We are in state, 45 minutes away, she very rarely came home, she loved it (although she’s pretty easy to please). Her friends rushed sororities, she didn’t, still was able to have a lot of fun at parties.
