Just savor these two little excerpts from what @demosthenes49 said in the discussion above. Do you really think it’s something a lawyer would write? It’s at best a minimally educated law student, someone who maybe spent a year or two at law school, so knows what the terminology vaguely is, but not what it actually means. And he certainly shows no understanding of the practice of law. I would bet dollars to donuts that someone who writes like that is not a member of the bar. (I think it’s no accident that he almost always refers to lawyers in the third person or as “lawyers I know.”) My guess is that Demos is a paralegal with an associates degree in paralegal studies. If he really thinks he is qualified to dole out advice about law school or legal careers, he should warn people he has very little actual expertise to back up his opinion.
